Alan joins Karp Strategies as a Associate with prior experience in Mexico City, working to leverage big data towards understanding urban issues and creative problem-solving for clients ranging from city and federal government to the retail and restaurant industries. While completing his Master of Urban Planning in New York City, Alan conducted policy research for the NYU Furman Center on a wide array of topics, including affordable housing, hotel-to-housing conversions, and other comprehensive housing strategies. At Karp Strategies, Alan’s focus lies in economic development and real estate advisory, employing a cross-sector and equity-driven approach to deliver high-caliber services across a broad range of clients. A bilingual English and Spanish speaker, Alan lives in Brooklyn with his wife Adriana and dog Pai.
