ABOUT
Jen
Jen, Principal at Karp Strategies, brings over 20 years of sustainability and economic development experience. Jen leads the firm in research, policy development, and program execution for large-scale port infrastructure projects for government agencies, offshore wind initiatives for private developers, and economic development and workforce development strategies for non-profit organizations. She currently teaches at Pratt Institute’s Graduate Center for Planning and the Environment and is the Co-Chair of the Women in Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy NJ Chapter. Prior to consulting, Jen served as the Chief Sustainability Manager for the New York Power Authority and as the Vice President of Clean Energy and Sustainability for the New York City Economic Development Corporation. She holds a M.S. in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After living in New York City for 20 years, Jen now lives in New Jersey. In her free time, she is often planning her next travel adventure around the world.
