Juli

As an Analyst at Karp Strategies, Juli merges her technical expertise in environmental management, marine biology, and offshore wind with her previous work as an educator and engagement specialist to bring a deep understanding of environmental science and policy to her program development, analysis, and stakeholder engagement work. Juli is passionate about centering environmental justice communities in climate solutions and leveraging opportunities in the green and blue economies to build a more resilient and equitable future. Prior to joining Karp Strategies, Juli spent four years at the Rockaway Initiative for Sustainability and Equity, a community planning and environmental advocacy organization in Rockaway Beach. She holds a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke University and a Certificate in Natural Hazards Resilience from the University of North Carolina. Juli spent several summers living on a houseboat in Jamaica Bay, Queens, and can often be found by the nearest body of water.
