Jorge

As an Analyst at Karp Strategies, Jorge brings expertise in research and public policy together with experience in the arts, community organizing, and education to develop stakeholder engagement strategies and augment economic development analysis and strategic planning initiatives. Jorge is passionate about public spaces and greening initiatives that make our cities more livable, and utilizing their weight in the transition to a sustainable urban economy. Prior to joining Karp Strategies, he traveled the world as an educator and worked in Florida as a political and community organizer, helping lead efforts to activate the youth vote in immigrant communities. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Central Florida and a Master of International Affairs in Urban and Social Policy from Columbia University. In his personal time, he enjoys cooking for friends and wandering aimlessly around the city on foot or on a bicycle.
