Mike is the Data Compliance and Contract Administrator at Karp Strategies. With over thirty years of experience in operations, maintenance, security and administration with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ), ensuring safe, secure, and efficient operations of port facilities, Mike brings his impeccable attention to detail to the table when overseeing the firm's administrative processes from start to finish, while ensuring compliance with existing contracts and insurance requirements with clients and teaming partners alike. He holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the College of New Rochelle; is a Certified Facility Security Officer; and has completed training in Jurisdictional Crisis Incident Management, Diversity & Inclusion, and Port Awareness Response Training. He also co-authored Port Authority Contract Administration Manual and was part of a training team, which trained over 1500 Port Authority staff. Mike retired from Port Authority in 2018 and resides in Brooklyn with his wife and two children and enjoys traveling.
