Samantha

As an Analyst at Karp Strategies, Samantha draws on her experience in community engagement and geospatial research to create holistic solutions for clients across sectors. With a focus on racial equity and urban development, her work is centered on merging quantitative data with lived experiences to execute effective community engagement strategies and policy development. Before Karp Strategies, Samantha worked at the NYC Mayor’s Office for Economic Opportunity on the EquityNYC team conducting data analysis around city-wide racial disparities and equity issues. She is also a 2019-2020 alumna of the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs program.

Samantha holds her bachelor’s in Geography and Citizenship & Civic Engagement from Syracuse University. She studied governmental relationships with Andean indigenous communities in Ecuador and information technology and cybersecurity in various countries throughout Asia. Samantha is currently pursuing her Masters of Urban Planning with an Urban Analytics specialty at NYU Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service as a McNair Scholarship recipient. In her free time, you can catch her roaming around with her family and dog, Max.
