Shreya specializes in stakeholder engagement and applies her multicultural and multinational experience to provide sustainable solutions to urban policy, economic, and community development challenges.
Shreya is an Associate at Karp Strategies with experience in stakeholder engagement, community development, and policy analysis. A bilingual English and Hindi speaker, she is a trained Civil Engineer and a graduate of the Master of Public Administration program at Columbia University, specializing in Economic Policy Management. Previously, Shreya was an Assistant Manager at Canara Bank, the third largest public sector financial institution in India, where she designed and implemented financial inclusion and digital literacy initiatives for marginalized communities.
During her time as a graduate student at Columbia SIPA, Shreya was a Consultant with the International Labor Organization and performed an environmental impact assessment of the garment industry in Jordan. She also conducted quantitative research and analysis to forecast anticipatory action to mitigate food insecurity in low and middle-income countries with the Earth Institute at Columbia Climate School. Shreya can be found jogging in Central Park or trying out a new art form in her free time.
