Michael joins Karp Strategies with over 11 years of experience successfully leading a diversity of project types across all scales and phases of planning and design in both the public and private sectors. He has previously contributed his expertise to projects, including the Dartmouth College Master Plan as an Urban Designer at Beyer Blinder Belle and the Amazon HQ2 Bid for the City and State of NY as the Northeast Cities + Communities Practice Area Leader at Gensler. As the Interim Business Development Associate, Michael supports Karp’s new business opportunities by nurturing our existing network of clients and industry partners in addition to facilitating strategic new partnerships. Michael holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech and is a registered Architect in the State of NY. As a longtime resident of Brooklyn, Michael enjoys long walks and bike rides across the boroughs in his free time, followed by nights out with friends enjoying the culinary and live music scenes of NYC.
