Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) is the entity behind the vision and implementation of the BeltLine, a project that aims to reclaim a 22-mile former rail corridor surrounding downtown Atlanta and remake it into a green, multimodal transit and pedestrian passage. In addition to building this infrastructure, ABI aims to promote equitable development among the 45 neighborhoods that it touches. With a change in leadership, ABI sought to refocus its efforts to ensure that its inclusionary and equitable vision for the City was considered on par with its infrastructure goals. Karp Strategies was hired to lead the entire organization in team building and visioning exercises to collaboratively develop new guiding principles. Over two afternoon sessions, the firm facilitated multifaceted activities, designed to allow each member of the ABI team to participate fully, and in a way they felt most comfortable.
