Zeineb joined Karp Strategies as a Graduate Analyst with experience in community engagement, spatial analysis, and architectural design. She has worked in private, non-profit, and academic roles, focused on thorough research and community outreach leading to sustainable design and planning solutions. Zeineb is passionate about engaging with local communities in order to shape more resilient and equitable urban spaces. At Karp Strategies, Zeineb develops community and stakeholder engagement strategies, performs research, data, and design related tasks to support project development, and supports analysis and data visualizations.
Zeineb most recently worked at the GSAPP Housing Lab where she deployed spatial and statistical tools to understand urban density capacities in New York City and imagine innovative and climate resilient approaches to affordable housing. She also served as a Junior Architect at The Elevated Studio, where she designed sustainable, flood-safe homes for Sandy survivors. At this same local non-profit she also facilitated community workshops oriented around questions of flood mitigation and resilience. During her time as an Architect with Atelier COS in Paris, France, Zeineb drafted architectural construction details with partnering structural engineers to ensure building plans were compliant with codes and regulations.
Zeineb is pursuing a Master of Urban Planning at Columbia University in New York, and holds a Master of Architecture from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Versailles.
