Anthony is an urban planner and communication strategist who serves as a liaison between communities and government. He leads economic development initiatives and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Anthony joins the Karp Strategies team with more than ten years of New York City urban planning experience, including stakeholder engagement, land-use planning, and waterfront development. Prior to Karp Strategies, he spearheaded engagement and implementation strategies for the homeowners and community groups within the City’s 153 historic districts as the Director of Community & Intergovernmental Affairs at the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission. As a project manager, he has also coordinated City-led zoning initiatives and managed the financial accounts for three of the New York City Economic Development Corporation’s waterfront properties. Having served in multiple leadership roles across NYC government, Anthony brings a deeply-rooted understanding of processes and public-sector stakeholders to his work. Anthony obtained a Master of Urban Planning from Hunter College and both a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Florida State University. A native New Yorker, he loves exploring the City’s neighborhoods by trying new restaurants and breweries. Anthony also enjoys exploring cities internationally. His personal goal is to visit every country in Latin America!
