Brittany joined Karp Strategies with robust experience in urban planning and economic research that has informed her creative approach to crafting thoughtful economic and community development strategies and initiatives. She draws from diverse experiences in both Detroit, MI and Brooklyn, NY, including advancing equitable home ownership strategies with the Detroit Land Bank, encouraging inclusive economic opportunities through immigrant inclusion with Global Detroit, and conducting market analyses to understand the impact of the pandemic on local businesses and communities for the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership.

As an Analyst at Karp Strategies, Brittany brings her passion for inclusive, sustainable change and technical skills to advance place-based urban development. Brittany is a two-time alumna of the University of Michigan, where she designed and led a program for underrepresented college students to learn more about the fields of urban planning, design, and architecture. In her personal time, Brittany enjoys picnicking, taking long walks with her husky, and biking around the city.
