Hermanoschy executes research and data analysis to deliver stakeholder engagement and economic development strategy anchored in equitable and sustainable urban planning policies. He leverages his skills developed through his experience in the nonprofit and government sector, to deliver stakeholder engagement, public policy analysis and project management to serve communities. He has executed robust research at the NYC Department of City Planning and contributed to citywide projects at the NYC Young Men’s Initiative with the goal of addressing increasing disparities in Black and Latino communities in NYC. During a nine-month fellowship at the NYC Economic Development Corporation, he worked alongside senior transportation planners on FreightNYC to create and promote multimodal strategies for freight transportation in NYC, thereby reducing emissions and traffic congestion while creating jobs.

As Analyst, Hermanoschy works closely with senior consultants on in-depth stakeholder engagement, supports project management, and provides strategy research and analysis for economic development and policy initiatives. He currently supports Massport’s Climate Action/Net Zero Project, where Karp Strategies focuses on analysis and recommendations for GHG emissions reductions at Massport’s port and maritime facilities. Hermanoschy is additionally supporting strategic communications and stakeholder engagement strategy and execution for renewable energy initiatives for a leading state agency.
