With a background in engineering and planning, throughout her career, June has cultivated a deep understanding of the connections between transportation, land use, and the built environment. She brings expertise in data analysis rooted in experience with spatial, modeled, and descriptive methods. Her work in research has spanned multiple centers around the United States, including Texas A&M Transportation Institute and Rutger’s Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center. She has performed analysis and engaged communities on transportation access, climate resilience, roadway infrastructure, pedestrian safety, and workforce development. In past work, she contributed to strategic planning documents, worked on interactive dashboards for flood and climate change data, and provided qualitative analysis surrounding equity within transportation systems and workforce development.
June supports Karp Strategies’ in both the development and synthesis of engagement and data analytic methods. She provides industry and labor market analysis, helping to communicate the economic impact and context surrounding new or existing development. Her expertise in spatial analysis and geographic information systems lends itself to understanding the place-based effects of projects and policy. She is helping to structure engagement and provide analysis towards multiple initiatives seeking to better incorporate climate resiliency into procedures and operations. June is an avid fan of the arts. In her spare time she writes music, crafts jewelry, and enjoys concerts, galleries, and museums around New York City.
