Updated: Jan 22, 2020
Karp Strategies is thrilled to announce that CEO + Founding Principal Rebecca Karp will be featured in a fireside chat next Friday, March 2 at 8:30 AM at the Hotel on Rivington, discussing her experiences about launching a successful small business, the challenges faced in the NYC market, and mentors/sponsors who supporter her along the way. The Consulate General of Canada in New York is launching its inaugural Women Mentorship Program in the sustainable infrastructure, smart city, public private partnership, and clean technology sectors. The program matches high potential female executives from disruptive Canadian companies with senior executives from in NYC. Its goals are to help advance the career of the selected high potential executive and to give their company a unique business development opportunity. Rebecca will be speaking with Kate Speir, Vice President of HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions North America, in a discussion moderated by Kelly Hoey, speaker and author of Build Your Dream Network.
As a WBE-certified firm that maintains strong partnerships with large NYC-based firms, Karp Strategies believes strong relationships between firms of different sizes is essential to the success of small firms starting out - especially those owned by women. We believe the challenges faced in urban planning, infrastructure, smart cities, P3 and clean technology are better served through collaboration - and look forward to the lively networking and conversations that will take place during the morning. We are proud to participate in this event, and hope to seeing many of our partners and collaborators there. For more information, please visit the event website.
